In the information age, it is necessary to provide quality
information—and who can do it better than journalist—those who reach the
heart of the society. It is great opportunity to speak to them (in MP).

It is nice to see an enterprising groups of people who have seen an
opportunity and responded to it in the form of Media Point. What is
unique about Media Point is the combination of institution with service.
The concept grows and you will find good opportunity for your students
in your services too. Good Luck.

I very much appreciated your invitation to address the School of
Professional Journalism. Hopefully our discussion was as informative for
all the members as it was for us. The struggle for freedom and equal
human rights for all goes on. I am grateful for your attention.

The effort of Media Point is appreciable. To run
journalism course in a peace where resources are scarce, is no doubt
difficult. Media Point seems to be serious and organized. The
contribution of Media Point is commendable especially when a country
like Nepal needs trained professional journalists. I wish Media Point
all success.

Today I had a very fruitful meeting to discuss the needs
for future training of media professionals and training of trainers in
Nepal. I found that Media Point is very focused on what they are doing
and at the same time has a very qualified and broad view of the issues
and problems at shite. I appreciate very much the very open and helpful
discussions we had and hope for close cooperation in the future.
I wish you success in your activities.
